“The Longest Yard”Directed by Peter Segal Adam Sandler goes to jail and starts a football team. Oddly enough, the number of butt-slapping incidents stays about the same. Also starring Chris Rock and Burt Reynolds. (PG-13)

“Madagascar”Directed by Eric Darnell & Tom McGrath A bunch of smart-mouthed zoo animals are shipped back to their native Africa. That’s original, Dreamworks. (PG)

“The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill”Directed by Judy Irving Speaking of displaced animals, how did a flock of parrots end up in San Francisco? Well, they came for the short-shorts and sour dough pizza, silly! (G)

“Walk on Water”Directed by Eytan Fox A hit man hunts for an ex-Nazi, but finds the guy’s homosexual grandson instead. Yup, it’s playing at the Broadway. (Not rated)

“Naked Fame”Directed by Christopher Long A 40-year-old porn star tries to escape his past and make it big in the music industry. Bonus: The film stands to answer the age-old question: “Who do I have to sleep with…” (Not rated)Compiled by Aaron Allen
