Black Pumpkin Affair advertisements objectified women

Editor:

What’s up with the banner that advertised the Halloween party? I am trying to find the link between a scantily clad woman and a fun costume party.

Have we sunk to the point that we need to use sex to sell campus activities? If so, count me out. I thought I was attending a university that was enlightened and tolerant, but I guess the truth lies behind the thin mask of Neanderthal thought.

The last thing we need at the U is more objectification of women. Wake up and smell the Halloween candy.
