Ward’s letter was very effective

Editor:

In response to all those who responded to Samantha Ward’s letter (“Gay people cause all the problems,” Oct. 25)-am I the only one who understood what Samantha Ward was trying to say in her letter? Are you guys so dumb as to actually believe that she meant what she said?

I am gay, and I was not offended. In fact, I think that her letter was very effective in making fun of those who actually do believe that gays cause all the problems.

Ward was trying to convey a message by mocking those who would indeed get rid of all gays on the face of the planet. I am saddened that people did not understand her letter.
