Keep the chimes in tune

Editor:

Has anyone else had the misfortune of wandering outside the Union building at noon? Horrible pain! For the first part of this semester, someone has been trying to play “The Entertainer” on the chimes.

It’s awful, it’s off-key-who in their right mind would allow this to continue every day? You don’t even have to ask the music students. Everyone who can hear them, students and visitors alike, know that some song is being disgraced by those tone-deaf chimes.

I like it when the generic chime tune plays-it sounds normal. But I just want to say, “Will someone please stop them from playing songs on out-of-tune chimes!”
