Above: Zach Zander and Mindy Layton participate in a pie-eating contest at the Heritage Center on Tuesday as part of Hall Warz. Zander went on to win first place. Right: Bryan Allen chose cherry for his pie in the first round; Allen went on to win his round but chose to not move on to the finals. Hall Warz, which is going on all week was designed to get students in the student housing to compete against each other and have fun. Some of the week’s competitions that are coming up are the arm-wrestling competition on Thursday and a mechanical bull on Friday. A penny collecting contest, which is going on all week between the houses will go to the Make a Wish Foundation.
