Utah running back Darryl Poston has been granted another year of eligibility, putting him back in a Ute uniform for the 2007 season.
Poston, who was the team’s leading rusher last season with 553 yards and five touchdowns, has battled injury problems throughout his career, which began at USC and continued at the U after three injury-plagued seasons with the Trojans.
The new year of eligibility will be the seventh of Poston’s collegiate career. He was at the U for the 2004 season but was sidelined for nearly the entire year, and played sparingly in 2005 before being granted a sixth year of eligibility, which he used in 2006.
