Xapio, a new compliance company, is making it easier for large businesses, law firms and medical centers to safely send and receive attachments.
The company, founded by Stefano Foresti, a researcher with the College of Architecture and Planning, revolves around an application that plugs directly into e-mail systems. The application allows users to securely send and track e-mail attachments of any size.
Xapio branched off from the Center of Representation of Multi-Dimensional Information at the U.
Foresti said that with Xapio, people don’t have to break their routine and find different methods to send their confidential files through e-mail.
