Club marching to defend unborn

Editor:

I’m sitting in the hotel lobby in downtown Washington, D.C., waiting to catch the metro to the Mall. I couldn’t be more excited. Marching alongside a couple hundred thousand people in defense of life, wow, what an experience this will be. Although the March for Life occurs every year, I feel especially lucky to be a part of this ever-so-important march which comes at a time when certain members of Congress and the president are trying to pass legislation which could lift the ban on partial-birth abortion, funnel taxpayer money to fund certain abortions and force faith-based hospitals to perform abortions. We’re marching here in Washington to defend not only the innocent life of the unborn but also the lives we lead every day.
