U spouse cards now available

The Associated Students of the University of Utah have created the long-awaited Student Spouse Card. Released on Aug. 25, the Spouse Card is designed to allow the marriage partners of enrolled students access to the benefits students across campus can already use.

Elliott, passing game can’t find rhythm

Throwing only 26 passes throughout the entire game, as the Utes did Thursday night against Utah State, seemed to be the character of the old offense for the U football team- rather than the much-hyped new brand of football. However, giving the ball to running back Brandon Warfield was just too easy against the Aggies.

Utes struggle, but defeat Utah State

Maybe it was because it was a rivalry game. Maybe it was first game jitters. Or maybe the U football team is just a work in progress. The Utes opened the Urban Meyer head coaching era with a 40-20 victory over the Utah State Aggies, but the newly redesigned U offense didn't exactly bring fans out of their seats.

Soccer begins its new season at Ute Field

Legislature questions U admissions

Diversity issues and sour grapes are plaguing the U School of Medicine, offending many and uniting the school in anger against the Utah State Legislature. In response to allegations that the U School of Medicine was not following fair admissions policies two years ago, particularly in regards to racial and gender diversity, it underwent an audit by the Legislature.
