Ute pair leads Canadian hoops

The Utah Utes' Canadian duo of Kim Smith and Shona Thorburn was back on the court this summer, and the players honed their basketball skills with the best women's players in the world. Competing in the Pan American Games for Team Canada, Smith and Thorburn showed why they are heralded by many as the future of not only the Canadian national team, but the U basketball program as well.

Union combines services

Students who need a parking pass or Network ID can get them in the same place-the Union lobby. First Week Panic Free, organized by the Union Programming Council, brings together organizations such as Commuter Services, the Marriott Library and an array of campus groups to assist students with their campus needs.

Ute soccer preps for scrimmage

Coach Meyer closes first training camp

Two hundred and fifty-one days after being hired, U football coach Urban Meyer may finally have a good idea what kind of team he's going to be putting on the field this fall. The Utes held a private scrimmage Tuesday afternoon that brought a close to a rigorous training camp.
