U Hospital Recognized as One Of Nation’s Top Organ Donors

Utahns are saying yes to organ donations, especially at University Hospital. Positive attitudes toward organ donations among hospital staff have inspired more families to say yes, making it one of the top organ donation centers in the country. U Hospital was ranked number seven out of the nation's 200 largest hospitals for organ donations.

The Chronicle’s View: Supreme Court Serves an Important Role in Society

Recently the Supreme Court handed down some significant rulings that affect many students at the U. The rulings regarding affirmative action policies at universities and sodomy laws in general will have direct ramifications for many U students. While the consequences of the court's rulings are of great interest in and of themselves, the rulings point to another phenomenon which is also of great importance.

The massive additions to this year's U football team have not been limited to changes in the team. Now, a new addition to the stadium will be created by the beginning of the upcoming 2003 football season. Besides an increased seating capacity, there was one significant feature that Rice-Eccles Stadium did not have which other top echelon stadiums did: a live video screen.
