Some statements which I'll quote from that article made me wonder if it really was the opinion of the editorial board's majority, or if the opinion of higher administrative leaders led/pressured the editors to a "politically correct" position on the issue.

Health Sciences Center Gets New VP

The U's Health Sciences Center has named James Bardsley associate vice president for finance and planning. He assumed his position July 22. Bardsley was chief administrator and director of planning for the Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, New Brunswick and Piscataway.
