Legacy Daily Cost Swells to $119,000

SALT LAKE CITY?The estimated cost of the delay in Legacy Highway construction has been hiked to $119,000 a day, but state officials say costs should be dropping soon. The state originally estimated the cost at $92,500 a day. With the arrival of more bills, the cost is now put at $119,000 per day, the Utah Department of Transportation said.

One set of items is keeping its secrets hidden?ancient moccasins. In the 1930s, a U professor discovered the collection of several hundred moccasins in a cave in Utah's Promontory Mountains and brought them to the museum.
