Their mouths are downturned as they discuss what their next big vacation will entail. They sip their mixture of coffee and alcohol as if it's the last time they will ever taste either.

U Men’s Basketball Gets By Boise State

Boise State's quickness kept the Broncos in the game for 30 minutes, but Utah's size prevailed in a 64-49 win Tuesday night. The Bronco guards battled injury, but still caused 12 Utah turnovers. Joe Skiffer (shoulder) and Bryan DeFares (hamstring) were not 100 percent, and BSU was without starting point guard C.

Jameson takes 39th at NCAA Cross Country

A season filled with repeated wins and dominating finishes came to a close on University of Utah cross country runner Teren Jameson, as the NCAA Championships took place on Nov. 19. Jameson was the only member of the Utah cross country team to compete in the championships, since the team did not qualify for the meet at the Mountain Region Championships.

Women’s Basketball Destroys Albertson

The Utah women's basketball team opened its home slate in impressive fashion Tuesday night, cruising to a 32-point halftime lead over Albertson College of Idaho before dismantling the Coyotes by a final score of 93-45. The win boosted the Utes to 2-1 overall, while Albertson fell to 2-2 on the year.

Senior offensive lineman Doug Kaufusi has been suspended from the Utah football team's Dec. 1 regular season finale at Air Force after coach Ron McBride learned that he has two warrants for his arrest stemming from a Jan. 27 altercation. Kaufusi's first warrant involves a Class A misdemeanor?one step below a felony?for assault, issued on March 7.
