Americans Remains Sent from Serbia

BELGRADE, Yugoslavia?The remains of three American brothers of ethnic Albanian origin who were killed and dumped in a mass grave in Serbia will be sent to the United States, the U.S. Embassy said Tuesday. Ylli, Agron and Mehmet Bytyqi were living in New York City when they decided to leave the United States to fight for Kosovo's independence against Serb forces in 1998-1999.

SALT LAKE CITY?Secret Service agents shopping for Olympics souvenirs lost a document detailing security plans for Vice President Dick Cheney's appearance at the Closing Ceremony, according to The Salt Lake Tribune. The document described seating arrangements at the stadium for Cheney, his family and other dignitaries.

Poll: Utahns Savor Winter Olympics

SALT LAKE CITY?A survey taken at the conclusion of the 2002 Winter Games found Wasatch Front residents overwhelmingly felt that the games went well. The poll found 59 percent felt the games came off exceptionally well and 29 percent thought they were better than expected.

Football Moves Boost Offense

Just two months removed from a bowl victory over national power USC that pushed its final record to 8-4 overall, the Utah football team is now focusing its efforts on reloading for the future. On National Letter of Intent Day on Feb. 6, the Utes added 24 athletes to their team, seven from the junior college ranks and 17 from high schools concentrated primarily in the West.
