Tracksters to Compete In Year’s Second Meet

The Snake River Open in Pocatello, Idaho, will be the next hurdle the U track and field team will have to jump this season. More than 10 teams will be competing at the meet, including, Southern Utah, Utah State, Boise State, BYU, Weber State, Idaho State, Northwest Nazarene, Ricks College, Treasure Valley Community College and individual runners sponsored by Nike and the Greater Boise Running Club.

Groups Wanting ASUU Cash Must File by March 15

Student organizations that expect money from ASUU next year need to act now. This year, more than 200 clubs and organizations shared $134,555. A similar amount should be budgeted for student use next year. Groups that want some of this funding need to turn in a budget request form by March 15.

Huntsman, Annex Lots Finally Close

The Salt Lake Organizing Committee was scheduled to take the two lots over on Jan. 9, but SLOC officials decided they didn't need the spaces until today, so the U had them for an extra week and a half.
