Utah can’t afford to export water

I'm not going to forecast a Malthusian doomsday, but Western states need to start taking a serious look into how many people can be supported by our fragile ecosystems. Sustainability is the solution, and if that takes some form of population control, so be it because the West is already thirsty.

Among my peers and me, though I will depart from them and from the service in the next 90 days, the memories of what we accomplished and the growth we made as individuals because of each other will never be forgotten.

Gone but not forgotten

Anyone who doesn't believe that old buildings have a certain atmosphere needs to go stand in front of the old Utah Theatre on Main Street. Look through the dirty windows. You will see a magnificent foyer stretching back nearly the length of a city block. Dusty plaster mouldings adorn the walls while paint peels away from them.

Women’s team picks up All-American awards

Morgan Warburton was added to the AP All-American Honorable Mention list, announced Tuesday. This will be Warburton's second time on the list, after being awarded Honorable Mention on 2008's All-American list.

Utah to commence Mountain West play
