I'm not saying you need to use public transit at all times and in all cases, but wearing an extra layer or two and hopping back on that bike, or throwing on those waterproof boots and using your God-given feet to get you somewhere is not nearly as bad as you would let yourself believe.

Whether or not the state gets involved, change starts from the bottom up. We hope the inversion lifts in the near future and takes the foul air with it. Regardless, students and residents should start building habits that will minimize its intensity.

Students are at a stage where they set many of their eating habits for the rest of their lives, and unfortunately, far too many are too lax about their health. We often disregard the effect an unhealthy diet can have on academic performance, stress levels and overall happiness and well-being. Sacrificing health in the name of budget or time is never worth the price.

We're marching here in Washington to defend not only the innocent life of the unborn but also the lives we lead every day.

Many of them assist in minimizing the harm that can come from the abuse of alcoholic beverages. Most people would agree that the safety of an entire population is far more important than the degree of convenience regarding the purchase of alcoholic beverages.

Although Utah's economy isn't bulletproof and certainly won't see an immediate end to the recession, we are predicted to do a lot better than the rest of the country.
