I am imploring all of you to do two things: plan ahead and double-major, or at least minor in something. For some, such as those in the department of engineering, this is very difficult. Many majors limit the number of courses a student can take. However, it is not impossible.

If the U wants to prepare its graduates for the real world with functional knowledge, a financial literacy requirement is imperative.

In the final analysis, if left to their own devices, many people will naturally adopt the better parts of those other cultures they come in contact with. We should neither fear what recent immigrants have to show us nor worry that our culture is noncompetitive.
