Red Rocks take it to the top

Coming into the 2009 season, head coach Greg Marsden had people in line to fill in for the most successful gymnast in Utah history, Ashley Postell. To what extent, however, was a different story.

No. 1 Red Rocks flip over record-setting attendance

Thanks in part to many strong performances last week, including all-around titles for Kristina Baskett at Utah State University and Nina Kim at Nebraska, the Red Rocks stayed atop the national rankings for the third straight week.

Swim team cuts back training to prepare for championships

In the two weeks since their last dual meet, the Utes have cut their workouts and training nearly in half to prepare for the Mountain West Conference championships next week.

Utah to face bigger threat in Colorado

Now that the Utes are back on the winning track, they will look to stay on the same path for the remainder of the season. Next up on the U women's basketball team's schedule is Colorado State, which is 8-16 overall and 3-8 in the Mountain West Conference.

Second half shows Utes’ skill

It's been three weeks since the Runnin' Utes have come up short against an opponent. That time frame would have been significantly shorter if not for the U men's basketball team's ability to come back from a first half deficit.

Injuries too much for team to overcome

Full strength squad has lots of talent

Utes trounce Air Force

Whipple tied a career-high with five 3-pointers en route to scoring 23 points as the Utes got back to their winning ways, defeating Air Force 57-32 Saturday in Colorado Springs, Colo.
