Friday night the Utes ended their four game losing streak in front of a record-breaking crowd at Ute field. They followed that up Sunday with a trip to Los Angles to face Loyola Marymount University, where the team had to endure its fourth overtime game of the year, and eventually had to settle for a 0-0 deadlock. The weekend was capped off Monday when Ute Rogers was named MWC Defensive player of the week.

Utah has had considerable success against the Aggies in the past, winning 10 of the 11 matchups between the two schools. That success continued this weekend with a 2-0 win at Ute field.

Once again, Utah came out on the wrong side of a nail-biter Sunday against Oregon State. After a full 90 minutes of scoreless soccer, extra time was needed to decide a winner in Corvallis, Ore., and it was the Beavers who netted the winning goal just seven minutes into the first overtime period.
