The Utes are hoping to find assurance in their last two games before beginning Mountain West Conference play, as they take on Utah State and Utah Valley University in home matchups this week.

The double-header against Utah Valley University that was scheduled for today has been cancelled because of unplayable field conditions resulting from weekend snow storms.

The Utes' 2008 season was filled with impressive upsets over top teams such as Texas, DePaul, San Diego State and Texas Tech, but despite being able to collect big wins, the team also suffered disappointing losses against teams such as Utah State and UNLV.

The team will head south to take part in the Red Desert Classic in St. George, where the Utes will play five games in the three-day tournament.
