Deseret Book Lets BYU Bookstore Sell &quotI Speak Pins&quot to Bilingual Population

PROVO?Ten-thousand Olympic "I speak" pins in 43 languages will be coming to the Brigham Young University bookstore Thursday. The pins display the 2002 Olympic logo along with the phrase, "I speak" in languages such as Spanish, French, German, Croatian and Afrikaans.

Huntsman, Annex Lots Finally Close

The annex and Huntsman Center parking lots?which are composed of 650 spaces?close for U usage today. The Salt Lake Organizing Committee was scheduled to take the two lots over on Jan. 9, but SLOC officials decided they didn't need the spaces until today, so the U had them for an extra week and a half.

Groups Wanting ASUU Cash Must File by March 15

Student organizations that expect money from ASUU next year need to act now. This year, more than 200 clubs and organizations shared $134,555. A similar amount should be budgeted for student use next year. Groups that want some of this funding need to turn in a budget request form by March 15.

Tracksters to Compete In Year’s Second Meet

U Gymnasts Battle Seventh Ranked Arizona Tonight

The No. 4 U gymnastics team (1-0) will get a stiff early test to its 22-year regular season home winning streak Friday night. No. 7 Arizona (5-0) visits the Huntsman Center after beating a host of ranked teams, while the U looks to plug in reserve gymnasts after the injury bug hit the team in its season-opening defeat of Ohio State.
