My grandfather has had a huge effect on my life. When I was much younger, he would always yell at me whenever I picked my nose. He'd slap my hand away from my face and give me a long, thorough description of what that stuff actually is. And it's a good thing he did, because otherwise I'd still be wondering why people look at me funny.

NORMAN, Okla.?Bob Stoops decided to stay put at Oklahoma, ending speculation that he would leave to coach Florida. Stoops met with Florida athletics director Jeremy Foley on Monday and told him of his decision. "Jeremy knew coming in, I felt strongly committed to our program, how strong and positive our program was, the way we're developing and where we're going with our program," Stoops said.

Police Shoot Man At Amtrak Station

SPOKANE, Wash.?Police shot and wounded a man they said "fired wildly" at them with an assault rifle in a crowded bus and train station after he fled from a traffic stop. Nobody else was hurt in the shootings. There were an estimated 250 passengers aboard an Amtrak train and another 100 were on two Greyhound buses at the time, in addition to an unknown number of people in the terminal, police spokesman Dick Cottam said.
