Boston U. to aid families of Sept. 11 victims

BOSTON?Children of Boston University alumni killed in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks are eligible for full tuition under a new legacy scholarship, the Board of Trustees decided at their October meeting. The scholarships would cover tuition costs for four years at BU, according to University spokesman Colin Riley.

01 – ’02 Greek Council Elected

The results are in. The newly elected greek executive board has many issues confronting it in the upcoming year, and some of those issues have been around for a long time. The Greek Council held its annual elections on Monday in the Union. Both the Panhellenic and Interfraternity councils elected a president, vice president and recruitment chair.

Powell Says Israel Should Retaliate

Book Exchange Hopes to Save Students Money

Students now have another way to buy and sell textbooks. The book exchange sponsored by the Associated Students of the University of Utah went online Monday, giving students a forum to sell their textbooks and look for cheaper books to buy. "It's all up to students themselves," said Spencer Angerbauer, the Technology Board director of ASUU.

FBI Has Yet to Contact U About Foreign Students

Israeli Bombs Put Pressure on Arafat

RAMALLAH, West Bank?Israel used bombs and missiles Tuesday to pressure Yasser Arafat to move against Palestinian militants, striking just yards from the Palestinian leader's West Bank offices and in the Gaza Strip. Two Palestinians were killed and about 150 were injured in the attacks.
