Emily Johnston is an intern on the investigative desk at the Daily Utah Chronicle, starting fall of 2021. Emily is majoring in biology with an emphasis in ecology and evolution, and minoring in religious studies. Emily is passionate about the integration of the STEM fields and the humanities and hopes to pursue science journalism. In addition to spending time outdoors and reading, Emily’s interests include playing various sports, learning Chinese and trying new coffee shops in Salt Lake City.
