Letter to the Editor: Sex abuse cartoons aren’t funny

Editor:

In the past, The Chronicle has printed cartoons making fun of the Michael Jackson sex abuse case and most recently on March 30 a cartoon was printed depicting a Boy Scout leader as a sexual predator. These cartoons, and the decision to print them, are distasteful to say the least and do no more than make light of something as horrific as the sexual abuse of a child.

Please be more respectful in the future and think before publishing cartoons that make fun of such a serious and tragic event as child abuse.
