ASUU holds Easter egg hunt and Spring Carnival

By Jenna Miller, Staff Writer

The ASUU non-traditional board will be hosting its annual Easter egg hunt this Saturday for students with families, but this year there will be a twist.

The Associated Students of the University of Utah board has combined its event with a newbie, the Spring Carnival, which is designed to bring families from the West Side community and families on campus together.

The free carnival will take place from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the Huntsman Center. A magic show, a giant bounce house and a craft area are some of the many games and activities that will be available at the carnival.

“It is our hope that this carnival will be something cherished by both the university and West Side communities,” said Stanley Lloyd, community service director for ASUU.
