Letter to the Editor: Student Parking Deserves Priority

By and May 21, 2003
Editor: I am a student at the College of Law, which means I pay more than $4,000 every semester just to attend. One day, a local politician paid Abe a visit, and shortly after the meeting began, it was quite clear that Lincoln was being offered a bribe for one salacious act or another.

The Chronicle’s View: New Leadership, New Opportunity

By and May 14, 2003
With graduation ceremonies coming to a close, the "All Aboard" Party takes the helm of U student government. Although students resolved the question of who will lead during student elections, the greater question remains: For what kind of leadership did the student body sign up? Letter to the Editor

Editor: I am a Utah alumnus and was visiting campus when I saw your story about the anti-military rally held the previous day. One of the "peace activists" was quoted as saying that "many people join the armed forces under the notion they will 'see the world and get an education' .
