Students, Community Rally to Bring Troops Home

There wasn't an enormous turnout, but it didn't matter, according Alex Musto. Musto, a U freshman, organized a rally, titled "Support Our Troops: Bring Them Home NOW!" in the Union patio area on Thursday to a crowd of about 30 supporters, including U students, faculty, community members and bystanders.

Editor: If it were up The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, it would be able to regulate speech on every square inch of downtown Salt Lake City, but it isn't. However, it seems the courts don't think that the city can reserve a walkway, but not maintain the public's right to free speech on it.

Health Sciences Update: New Lecture Honors Deceased U Voice Expert

The first annual Steven Gray Memorial Distinguished Lecture will take place tonight from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Eccles Institute of Human Genetics Auditorium. The lecture will coincide with the first annual World Voice Day and will honor Steven Gray, an international voice expert and U professor of surgery, who died of cancer last fall.
