Opponents of the Bush administration's foreign policy agenda have lost the first battle: They were unable to slow down the unilateral train to war. Now that the first battle is lost, it is time to concentrate efforts on a new front. Opponents must corroborate efforts in the "public sphere" to expose an obscure but widely implemented agenda known as the Bush Doctrine.

Editor: The March 25 issue of The Chronicle contained ignorance and anti-war rhetoric that must be clarified. I agree with columnist Jennifer Mitchell?s statement in ?Liberals are as American as Apple Pie,? that being anti-war is not being pro-Saddam. Being anti-war at this point equates to being inane.
