Throughout the season, the event the U gymnastics team has consistently received great scores in was the one that was the reason for its demise at No. 9 Oregon State, as the No. 3 Utes fell 196.900-196.325. Britton Johnsen 29th Ute to Score 1,000

Six-foot-10 senior forward Britton Johnsen became the 29th Ute to eclipse the 1,000-point mark for his career Monday night. Johnsen's historic bucket came on a fastbreak dunk with 11:07 to go. Point guard Marc Jackson received an outlet pass from rebounder Richard Chaney, and hit a streaking Johnsen.
