Baseball Can’t Move Up With Split

As it has all season, the U baseball team had to ride Mitch Maio's arm for another win, but without Maio pitching in the second game of Monday's doubleheader against UNLV, the pitching could not get it done, as the Utes split the doubleheader with the Rebels.

Letter to the Editor: Considering Personal Liberties

Editor: The esteemed Mr. Jared Clay, in his April 18 letter to the editor, "Flag Burning Promotes Negativity," invited the students who hope to see a United States flag burned in a class to "parasitize a different country." Further, Clay makes the assertion that were there to be more patriotism similar to that of David Reichner, a student who barred another from burning a flag, a sense of "responsible citizenship" would emerge.

Editor: A teaching assistant asks students if they are LDS. Students voluntarily raise their hands. TA questions the history of the LDS Church and lack of apparent diversity within its hierarchy.
