By By Chris Kamrani June 25, 2008
On a daily basis, anywhere from 20 to 40 people have situated themselves in the Union lounge at lunchtime, shouting at a large flat-screen TV. The hoopla doesn't involve a Barack Obama vs. John McCain cage fight or updated footage of the floods of the midwest.

House: Students must pay the price to drive

By and June 19, 2008
Any time U students face a price increase, the decision is bound to be unpopular. Last week the Board of Trustees unanimously approved a plan to increase parking permit fees by 10 percent. With gas prices on the rise, the Utah Transit Authority has been forced to increase both bus and TRAX fares to offset fuel costs.

Graduation Guarantee program to begin this fall

By By Jed Brinton and By Jed Brinton June 18, 2008
The new Graduation Guarantee program at the U is highly feasible and likely to succeed, said U student and administration leaders. However, the program must overcome challenges, including a lack of information among students and the possibility that students might choose not to participate.
