By By Jon Gilbert and By Jon Gilbert April 9, 2008
When a team enters the postseason and has to travel across the country to compete in a format different from the one it has participated in all season, things can get stressful. However, that can be made easier when it feels like going home. Utah gymnastics coaches Megan Marsden (wife of head coach Greg Marsden) and Jeff Graba both have ties to Minnesota that could make competing at the North Central Regional Championships in Minneapolis, Minn.

Baseball: AL Central Preview

By and April 9, 2008
Everybody who thinks there are about five unexplainable flukes happening right now in the AL Central, raise your hand. Now pat yourselves on the back because you are only about half right. First-place Kansas City isn't going to play .714 baseball all year long, but the Royals have good enough pitching and enough guys (like Tony Pena and Billy Butler) who are trying to make it in the MLB, so they aren't going to finish 24 games below .

Baseball: Utes go down south to face ugly, cold nemesis

By By Cody Brunner and By Cody Brunner April 8, 2008
On paper, there is no reason the U baseball team should have any problem against BYU today. The Utes have convincingly out-hit and out-pitched their neighbors to the south to this point and have fielded just as efficiently. However, statistics and records tend to take a back seat to emotion when the bitter rivalry is taken into account.
