Police report sheds more light on football player’s arrest

New details have emerged concerning the arrest of Utah wide receiver Fano Tagovailoa. The junior was arrested Sunday morning and transported to the Salt Lake County jail where he was booked by officers on charges of burglary and domestic assault. Details from the official police report were obtained through a public information request from public information officer Robin Snyder with the Salt Lake County Police Department.

Their lives, of course, are defined by such important issues as: What Disney character is your alter ego? What piercing are you? What mythological creature are you? What literary character are you? What color is your heart? No, I'm not making these up.

Professor urges to review cultural images of disability

Images used in society reflect the way a culture views disability, said Rosemarie Garland-Thompson, a professor of women's studies and English at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Garland-Thompson presented a lecture Tuesday that encouraged community members and professionals who attended to view images of disability in a different way.
