Attitude adjustment serves swim team well

After every practice and every weight training session, the Utes gather together and end their meeting with a team yell. Popular choices include "Go, Utes!" and "Conference Champs!" These Utes don't wear shoulder pads or dunk basketballs. They perfect backstrokes in the pool and somersaults off of a diving board.

Student’s blog nominated in national competition

Chris Clark, a master's of business administration student, was recently chosen as a finalist in a national blog competition. Clinton fundraiser nearly sold out

Because this upcoming Sunday's rally featuring former President Bill Clinton has been sold out, the Hillary Clinton campaign, which the event is raising funds for, has created 200 standing-room tickets. Because the tickets will be for standing room only, their price has been cut to $30, said campaign spokesperson Isaac Baker.

Lacrosse wraps up fall ball

The Ute lacrosse team finished its last home game in its fall-ball season with a 10-3 win over in-state rival Utah State last Sunday. The Utes came out at a torrid pace and jumped ahead of the Aggies 2-0 in the first quarter. Despite the two-goal lead, Utah State's goalie made several saves to prevent the Utes from increasing their lead further.

Letter: Study abroad fee increase to help students

Editor: I am glad to hear that the U is considering creating more scholarships to allow more students the opportunity to study abroad. I am a U student currently studying abroad at Swansea University in Wales. From my experience abroad, I would highly encourage and recommend everyone who can to challenge themselves and go abroad.

Runnin’ Utes open tonight
