Abortion is about the right of women to interrupt an unwanted pregnancy that might have resulted from a terrible experience, such as rape, the horrible news that the fetus' health would result in a challenging existence, or in the case when the health of the mother could be at risk.

Gay marriage bans only suppress people and defend no one. They protect xenophobes from accepting that same-sex couples are equal to them before the law. I cannot imagine a viable and unbigoted argument to the contrary.

At the end of the day, you'll think for yourselves. You'll make a decision and put a little "x" on the screen. It's crazy to think that tomorrow less than an inch difference up or down could mean drastically different fates for our future. You know where I stand, please stand with me.

Utah Republican leaders have had years to implement these reforms, but have refused to bring accountability and transparency to our state government. If we want an ethical legislature here in Utah, we need to elect more Democrats. This is why America needs Barack Obama in the White House and more Democrats in Congress and the Legislature.

If you're here because you don't have any better ideas, well8212;that was my situation, and luckily in my senior year I stumbled on a course that changed my life8212;maybe don't drop out.
