Opinion

Chronicle needs more football

November 6, 2008

Please write more about my team for the remainder of the season, as I could care less about a campus shuttle breaking down as front-page news.

Campus bike lanes a waste of funds

By By Liz Carlston November 6, 2008

The bike lanes are unnecessary and a reckless use of funds. The $3,500 spent to paint these lines on the sidewalk could have been better used in almost any other capacity.

Racism claims about painting unfounded

By By Alicia Williams November 6, 2008

If you choose to view the world with critical, negative and skeptical eyes, you will see hate, anger and evil planted in the most innocent of scenes. Hopefully, viewers of the painting will see it as it is8212;a remarkable piece of art and a tribute to diversity.

Greek Row needs to treat victims equally

November 5, 2008

Students at risk for fraud

By By Jeffrey Jenkins November 5, 2008

Berg resorts to smear tactics

November 5, 2008

Intervention not always best option

By By Steve Warrick November 5, 2008

In most, but not all, cases, it is probably the best course of action to let the parties themselves work out a solution that reflects the real balance of power rather than for us to impose an artificial status quo.

Legislature should help struggling students

By By Anne Roper November 4, 2008

The circumstances are combining against students, turning into Murphy's Law. The Legislature needs to take notice of struggling students who can't make ends meet while paying for an education.

Miller movie choices hypocritical

By By Zach Edmunds November 4, 2008

Miller is allowed to show what he wants in his theaters, but it seems hypocritical to project the idea that he is standing for family values by not allowing films such as "Zack and Miri" and "Brokeback Mountain" to play while allowing movies such as "Saw V" and "Hostel."
