The Utah baseball team traveled to Las Vegas for a three-game series against UNLV and left with a 1-2 weekend.

The Utah baseball team continues its Mountain West Conference schedule as it travels to Las Vegas to take on UNLV.

Utah picked up its third straight win after a late-game rally propelled the Utes to a 9-6 win over the Wolverines (7-19). The game was scheduled to be played at Franklin Covey Field, but was moved to Orem because of field conditions.

For the third time in the past four days, Utah will have to reschedule because of inclement weather conditions. The Utes were slated to play Utah Valley University tonight, but will have to find another day to do so.

Despite harsh weather conditions, the Utes picked up two wins against Southern Utah University this past weekend.

The Utah baseball team took an early 2-0 lead in the top of the fifth inning on a two-run Kevin Hussey home run, only to surrender the final three runs of the game as Gonzaga edged out the Utes 3-2 to split the two-game series Wednesday afternoon in Spokane, Wash.

Utah took the first of a two-game set against the Gonzaga Bulldogs 16-9 thanks to some heavy hitting in the top of the sixth.

The Utes (8-11, 2-4 MWC) picked up one win over a three-game series against the Horned Frogs (13-6, 2-1 MWC), and it came in a dramatic fashion.

As the snow continues to linger outside, it won't stop the Utah baseball team from beginning Mountain West Conference play today against BYU.
