The women's soccer team is off to its best offensive start since the 1996 season. The Utes have been firing on all cylinders, scoring nine goals in their first two games, beating Utah Valley University 6-0 in their home opener and Cal State Fullerton 3-1 on the road.

Utes picked to finish No. 2 in conference

Utah finished the 2008 season as the conference runner-up in both the regular season and the tournament championship to BYU. The Utes compiled an 11-9-2 record, including a 5-2 effort in league play, with the losses coming to TCU and BYU.
