Editor: In response to your editorial on ASUU funds for sport clubs: The U of U women's water polo team has been successful at the national level for two years. We placed 6th at nationals after a double-overtime loss to Notre Dame, and we anticipate even more success this season.

The discussion of whether students need permission to sell class notes is over--for now. The U Board of Trustees met on Monday to discuss, among other things, a restructuring of the student code to "correct some procedural problems," said U Associate Vice President for Faculty Susan Olson.

"So, are you married yet?" asked a thoughtless acquaintance of mine once. "No. Are you divorced yet?" I replied coolly. Anyone remotely aware of Mormon dating mores knows the question, "Are you married yet?" is about as insensitive and taboo as asking an overweight woman, "So...when's the baby due?" Regardless, the anecdote makes for a nice segue into my Valentine's Day "Whitticisms," because you can't speak about romance in LDS circles without marriage dominating the majority of the conversation.
