Utes hope win over SLCC will set tone for season

Before Friday's game against Salt Lake Community College, men's soccer head coach Gilbert Gaertner stressed how critical it was to set the tone in the first ten minutes of the game, and that is exactly what the Utes did. It was a very physical match and the Utes jumped to a 1-0 lead with a goal by Alan Garcia, which was the only goal of the first half.

The "loud party ordinance" passed by the city council last week will cost Greek Row, along with all other Salt Lake City residents, $300 per visit from police officers every time they must respond to a noise disturbance.
