Fans say goodbye to Kim and Baskett at Senior Night

For the past four years, Red Rocks fans have had the pleasure of watching seniors Nina Kim and Kristina Baskett perform in the Huntsman Center. Friday night, Kim and Baskett will be introduced in front of their home fans for the last time.

Deetscreek’s summer pays off

UTA urges discretion

In light of the death of Joseph Montgomery, a U student who was killed last week after crossing in front of a TRAX train, UTA is urging riders not to sacrifice safety to be on time.

TRAX train kills student

On March 2, Montgomery, 19, was skateboarding from the Midvale TRAX station across 95 W. Center Street, when a train hit him at about 6 p.m. He was taken to Intermountain Medical Center in serious condition, but died four days later.

Tuition increases 9% overall; differential hikes also pass

The U Board of Trustees approved the tuition increase during its monthly meeting Tuesday morning. Resident students will pay an average of $233 more per semester and non-residents will pay $777 more.
