In an effort to introduce students to community involvement, ASUU and the Lowell Bennion Community Service Center have drafted a proposal that would require students to complete some kind of community service prior to graduation.

Rock climbing can be a fun, rewarding activity, but it also presents some risks that can lead to serious injury and death if the right precautions aren't taken. Aside from a knowledgeable person and the required strength it takes to rock climb safely and efficiently, there are certain items that are essential to rock climbing.

Although they are disappointed they won't be able to vote, students younger than 18 are determined to have their voices heard this election season.

Head coach Jim Boylen has set the bar high for his team, and now it's time to see if it can step up.

Hopefully the committee and student body will see that beyond the good intentions of the proposal, it is just another requirement to pile on students without reason.

We are so pampered in this country that the common sentiment has unfortunately become that we are owed all good things.
