By By Chris Kamrani December 29, 2007
Most U students know Robert Johnson as the free safety from south-central Los Angeles that almost single-handedly sent the then-mighty UCLA Bruins home with a loss. But now the sophomore is someone else-just a happy-go-lucky student athlete. Johnson grew up in Watts, Calif.

Free throws got the their name because they are shots that are free of defenders. In Utah point guard Tyler Kepkay's case, they might as well be free points. To show their appreciation for the Navy players and their sacrifices for the nation's military, the Utes lined up behind the Midshipmen after the game to listen to their school song.

Jazz venture deep in the heart of Texas (12/7)

By By Jason Peterson December 29, 2007
Sometimes, the Utah Jazz offense operates like a well-oiled machine, as it did against Miami on Monday. The Jazz were almost unselfish to a fault, dishing out 38 assists of the 42 field goals made that night. Other times, the Jazz offense sits like a Porsche on ice -- the wheels are spinning, but it's not going anywhere.
