Key players to see more bench time

Utes finish on top of MWC

Utah claimed a portion of the Mountain West Conference championship with their 68-49 victory over TCU Saturday afternoon at the Huntsman Center.

No. 1 again

In his final game in the Huntsman Center, senior forward Shaun Green led all scorers with 20 points, including six 3-pointers in the Utes' 68-49 victory over TCU on Saturday. With the win, Utah captured a share of the Mountain West Conference title for the first time in four years.

And for the Runnin' Utes, ending a two-game skid and earning a high seed in the Mountain West Conference tournament seems like a perfect combination on the day the Utah program waves goodbye to four irreplaceable seniors.

With a BYU win, three teams will be tied for first place in the MWC for the first time in the 10-year history of the conference. This means if each team wins its final game on Saturday, the title and No. 1 seed will go to a tiebreaker.

Lobos tied with Utes in MWC, Cougars close behind

After a March Madness-caliber night in New Mexico, the Lobos are now tied with the Utes atop the Mountain West Conference at 11-4 after a 77-71 win over Utah. The Utes are now on a two-game skid, and BYU (10-4) could see themselves among the leaders if it gets a win against Wyoming tonight.
