The Utah team enters conference play on a three-game losing streak and has lost five of its past seven games, including a loss to No. 12 Oregon that snapped a 13-match, yearlong home winning streak.

The women's tennis team kicks off the start of its 2009 season today at the BYU Invitational in Provo. Play will continue through Saturday.

The man has come oh-so-close to the Lombardi Trophy more times than Kanye West can make an ass out of himself. The football team pulled off a sloppy win over San Jose State, the women's soccer team lost by one goal and the volleyball team went 0-2 at the Santa Clara Tournament.

When the Utah volleyball team gets a visit from No. 12 Oregon on Tuesday night, it will encounter perhaps its biggest challenge of the season.
