After a brief experience highlighting the horror politics can uncover, Kailey became incredibly interested in the topic. She slowly started sifting through the murky mess of politics. She became obsessed with finding the holes in stories and tying together "left" and "right" winged news. She was both astonished and angered by the bias which takes place.
When the COVID-19 pandemic came to Utah and forced the community into quarantine, she decided to reach out to the local paper. Offering up her abilities and passion, she proposed a more positive outlook on the way events were unfolding. As the school year picked up, she had the opportunity to spotlight the success of her school. She even helped to start Cedar High School's very own virtual newspaper. She is passionate about contributing unbiased information and positive stories to the media as a trustworthy journalist.
