Bouncing back

By By Cody Brunner September 9, 2007

By By Jon Gilbert September 7, 2007
As the final seconds ticked off the scoreboard in Corvallis, Ore. on Aug. 30, Utah fans found much more to agonize over than just the Utes' loss to Oregon State. Letter: Don’t hate on Brian Johnson

September 7, 2007
Editor: This is a response to Peter Dalton's letter "Study harder, Johnson" (Aug. 28). How dare we question Brian Johnson's intelligence? Assuming that he is a poor student "who could care less" is ridiculous. Brian has been named to the Academic All-MWC Team twice.

Power of ten

Utes ground game looks to plan “B”

September 7, 2007
No one doubted that a Brian Johnson injury would seriously affect the Utes aerial attack. But until the second half of the Oregon State game last week, few realized how much his presence affected the Utes' running game. The U football team and its fan base learned quickly.

How good intentions went sour over one day

By By Luke Hinz September 7, 2007
It seems every month is one filled with remembrances -- of the destruction of Katrina, of our country's spirited work ethic or of all those who have fought and died for this country. Now, we approach another day of memory -- one that stands at the forefront of our collective memory as the day our nation lost its innocence.

Who needs normal?

There seems to be no effective way to treat Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. As I sat in the doctor's office with my mother, the nice doctor looked over my ADHD test. With a concerned look on her face, she looked up at me and said: "Oh yeah, you got it bad.

Letter: Don’t forget the spirit when heckling preachers

September 7, 2007
Dear Editor, Just the other day we had some preachers on our campus trying to convert people to the readings in the Bible and Jesus. I found most of their arguments a little weird, but not a lot different from what other religions taught. I listened quietly and like college taught me I listened critically.
